About
As a mental health practitioner working with parents and young people, I am particularly interested in early intervention and well-being support.
In my sessions, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental and nurturing space where clients can comfortably explore issues, identify unhelpful patterns, be open to receiving support, learn new skills, and grow into their best selves.
My practice is evidence based and trauma informed, with a strong focus on development and modern attachment theory. I specialise in humanistic approaches (e.g. person-centred therapy, child-centred play therapy and sandtray work) and unconditional, relationship-based parenting.
Significantly, research shows that the client-clinician relationship is the most important predictor of positive treatment outcomes, regardless of the approach. This is why finding the right therapist is key.
